Bought a 69 coupe and found several swiches and ***** under the steering wheel on the bottom of the dash but have no idea what they are for, they look like factory controls, any help would be greatly appreciated

While you're waiting for your manual to arrive...

If yours is like my 72...
The little **** about the size of a tire valve cap on the left over by itself should be the odometer reset, press up and turn
The center larger **** in the middle under the steering wheel turns off the power to the wiper motor.. stops them in mid-wipe so you could change the blades. Turn to activate (remember to turn it back on)
The small ***** on either side of that pull down to switch the vacuum to raise the headlight doors or the wiper door without turning the lights or wipers on

you have 2 pull down switches ,1 is for the headlights you pull this down and the headlight doors pop up ,without the lights being on . push switch back in and doors close . the other one opens and closes the wiper door .wipers will not come on . the **** switch stops the wipers on the windshield so you can change the blades

Just to add a touch of clarification: the engine must be running for the pull-down switches to open the respective doors. They depend on engine vacuum to operate.
