Considering a 1975 Convertible that has a good soft top, but like many the plastic window has come out of it. Any ideas on how to replace this without buying a whole new top and having it professionally installed. Would prefer to NOT spend $1000 on that process. Thanks!
I think you'll have to find a shop that will replace the vinyl window or do it yourself. My 72 has the original top that's in excellent shape except for the window, which is long gone. My thoughts have been to replace it myself. I've found the vinyl but haven't found the glue that I need. If I do and am successful, I'll get back to you on the results.

Can you share where you found the vinyl? Is it reproduced?
I sourced the clear vinyl at a local fabric shop. They had 3 or 4 different grades and thicknesses, too. It was sold by the foot and the width was more than enough to cover the opening.

Anyone thought about a boat top shop? They use clear vinyl all the time, and I would guess, the clear vinyl they use is much more weather tolerant than any corvette use would ever be.
