Default want list

Ok, input sought. Wanting to go with an electronic set up from Detroit Speed for my windshield wipers - assuming I can find 1 for my 75. it would clean up a lot of the vacuum lines/ canisters by deleting them plus I would not have to chase down leaking vacuum lines. Also, possibly change my current steering box to a Borgeson or possibly rack/ pinion set up. Is my steering bad, no , just looking at ways of improving my '75. Has anyone done either of these and are you glad you did this?

thanks in advance

The Borgeson conversion completely transformed my wife's 79 into a modern car. Be sure to dial in some extra caster when you do the conversion.

There are lots of threads on the conversion. This is likely the longest one:

Default DIY wipers

Hi Bill.
the wiper conversion has quite a few threads. Depending on your level of DIY you could cut the cost of the conversion significantly. The Detroit Speed kit has a module that is mounted down by the steering column. Attached is the install instructions so you can get an idea of what it takes.

You are right, I have a 75 with no wiper door. Am looking at Detroit Speed for their electric headlight conversion and looking at other options for improving the 75.
