Wow, just wow! Damn that's a nice looking LT-1! A friend had a 30000 mile original A/C documented LT-1 coupe about 10 years ago. Needless to say, with original paint on his (I'm assuming yours has been repainted) his didn't look as nice as yours, and you won't find a more particular person than him, he just didn't want to do away with the original paint.
Beautiful car. I also own a '72 LT-1 w/ factory air, Steel Cities Grey. Love the car. I am just going through some small items now. Looking to get a re-paint intake near future.
May I assume that you have intention of having your car judged (NCRS or ?) when you get finished with detailing work? It certainly looks like it can pass 'muster'.
Hey Jag. That’s a very beautiful and special car you found. Congratulations!
Being as Bryar Blue is a one year only color, and low volume at that, coupled with the special order-only blue interior, AND being an air conditioned LT1, I think you’ve struck gold. I’ve seen only one other Bryar Blue/Blue car before. It was a base convertible with a white soft top and no hard top. I really can’t understand why GM didn’t offer blue interior with Bryar Blue paint. I think they matched blue interiors with all the previous blue exteriors. Certainly a great looking combination. What options does this car have?
