Default Shipping Wheels/Tires

Anybody shipped wheels and tires lately ? I'm thinking of using UPS . How did you package them. Label only, or shrink wrap maybe? The local UPS store I called was talking about boxing it. It's a stock C3 rally wheel and tire.

I have shipped in a box and without a box, just with a cardboard wrap and and shipping shrink wrap. It is expensive to ship tires/wheels, but
the best price seems to be fedex ground.

Round pieces of cardboard to protect the rims on each side with shipping tape wrapped around to hold the cardboard in place. Then they can be rolled.

This is how Tire Rack ships except they use plastic strips instead of tape...
