Default Using an endoscope/camera

Can you safely use one of these that attach to computer or phone to take pictures down the throat of carburetor or in gas tank (not submerged of course). No danger of explosion is there, using camera and flash? thanks

carb? Why not..tank i used flex light and phone from cap opening

Carb is fine. Gas tank? I would never put any electrically powered device anywhere near the fill hole unless it was approved to do so. And btw,, gas, as in fluid, does not burn. But the vapours are extremely volatile!

I wouldn't submerge the camera in the gas. I did that in a jetski fuel tank and it ate up the sheathing around the flexible cable. It also rendered the camera inop too.
