I can't see much from the photo but seeing a flange gasket, I might question if they are side pipe headers? a better photo or a part number would be good.

It looks like the seller tried to hit all the models in his for sale add. The only year missing is 1977 from what I can see. I put Hooker Super Comp headers on my 1977 with great success and great sound. If you do buy them consider getting the burn covers because those pipes can really hurt you if you don't. My wife burned her leg and I did as well.

I would ask for more pictures and ask about the brand name. Hooker; Doug's; some other?
Good luck.

Those headers are not sidepipe headers. They are designed for an under car style exhaust.

Some of your best side pipe accessories are:
1. Heat shields
2. Long pants

And get used to saying "don't touch the pipes" over-and-over-and-over as people get in and out of your car. Heat shields will help to prevent Hooker Tattoos.

How long do you have to drive before the side pipes get hot? I have driven mine 15-20 min, up to 60 mph for a while, and was still able to hold my hand on them when I parked.

About 5 minutes with my car before the side pipes start to get hot enough to be unpleasant to touch near the exhaust exit point. The header pipes all the way down to the collector would already be too hot to touch on my car. I am running chrome Hooker Header side pipes on my '66, small block 327 / 350 Hp, the headers are not ceramic coated internally and I do not have the external insulation wrap on the headers. If you did what you described above on my car, we would be headed to ER to treat you for a pretty bad burn.

Added: My chrome Hooker Header side pipes do not have heat shield covers over them. If they did, you could probably touch the heat shield cover and be okay. Heat shield covers are intended to dissipate heat quickly and provide air space between the hotter bare exhaust pipe underneath and the outer heat shield....some heat shields also have a insulation material under them to serve the same object and keep heat from transferring to the surface of the heat shield.

5 minutes and you can fry bacon. Well, maybe not, but you will burn the heck out of your leg. Been there.. I carry a towel, and the wife does NOT open the door. I do that for her anyway, but I also put the towel over the door sill and pipe. No desire to go through the hell I'd have to put up with if she got burned.

Wow, I guess I am lucky. Mine are stainless, no heat shield. We'll see once I get her tuned up, broken in, and do some "spirited" driving.

NO, they are extremely hot and care must be used.
The only thing you can do is add covers to them and then the 4 tubes going into the collector are still exposed.
See picture in post 3 above.

Second on "NO", they are extremely hot.

While the heat shields cover the main body of the muffler where you get in and out of the car, it does cover from the heat shield forward to the collector and the area just before the collector where the four individual tubes come together.

Both my wife and my youngest son when he was about 18-years old, despite numerous warnings over-and-over-and-over about how hot the pipes get, both leaned over the car near the engine compartment and both have a Hooker Tattoos.

Oldest son and his wife just had our first grandkids......SO, the side pipes are coming off. One thing for an adult to get get burned after repeated and constant warnings "watch out for the pipes, they're hot". Another thing for one of our grandkids to get burned.

Both my wife and I are on high-alert when we first get to car shows, events, cruise-ins where people like to come and see the car up close. She takes the passenger side and I take the driver side full-court press until the pipes cool off enough to touch.....about 15 minutes once the engine is turned off.

Unless, you get the insulated fiberglass covers like I have, no burning whatsoever. Barely get hot at all.

I wouldn't trade the sound and look of my sidepipes for anything!

Just my opinion but I don't believe those are Corvette headers at all. Because the engine sits so far back in the C3 the rearmost pipe travels forward before it heads down, all 4 pipes converge at the center exhaust ports before they head down.

I don't get it either. I have a set of Hooker sidepipes on my vette, and I can drive 50 miles up the freeway and lay a hand on them when I get out. Of course I'm not trying to reach up near the collector. I'm talking about the portion of pipe near the middle of the door where my leg actually has any chance of touching them. The dogs often step on the sidepipes getting out of the car too, and it's not like they linger there, but the temperature doesn't bother them at all.
