Hello. I will be replacing my seatbelts in my 69 and I wondered where would the best place to purchase be. The originals are 52 years old and showing wear and, fraying very scratched up buckles and a non working retractor. I'm looking for an original looking set the 3 webbing and GM buckles. I see the different vendors and Seatbelt Planet have them and I wondered if they all came from Seatbelt Planet or is there someone else as well. Also wondered if there were complaints about the retractors not working that well, or other problems. Thanks for all help and suggestions.
There are MANY similar posts with detailed info on seat belt source options, etc. just by using the SEARCH function on this Forum. Give it a try and see if you find the info you need. If not, we can duplicate the info, if necessary.

SsnakOil. I sent my total shot 68 belts. Retractor did not operate, webbing frayed and buckles rusty. For $700.00 they came back new with the original tags in place. Pricy yes. But worth every penny when everything else has been restored.

That is certainly one way to go. The only drawback for me to do that would be the price. Well over a thousand by the time I convert to $CDN and shipping, taxes. Thanks for the suggestion, still an option.
