just remember when you are talking selling price (at auctions)to the above cars.
you have to add 10% buyers fee
so the buyer of a 50k car really paid $55,000

I added in the 10% buyers fee but not sure what that would be for a $5M car. Just seems insane to pay $500,000 seller fee and another $500,000 for the buyer. But hey, maybe they do.

unless you renegotiate it prior to the hammer falling you do pay it. It’s an agreed upon amount in the listing and buyers pass. If however Frank or Dana offer you a “reduced commission” to lift the reserve than that is a contract amendment. My question would be if as a seller, you agree to a modified amount and lift the reserve, and the bidding takes off, do you get any more of the new number??

The white '69 L-88 vert, Bloomington Gold certified did not sell with a high bid of $290,000.

People that can afford to pay 5 million for a car don't worry about stuff like that.
