Al Knoch Carpet Set

I received a response which perhaps I am not understanding.
"From the information referenced,
the 68-77 carpets are the same cut for those years.
68/69 models carpet is available in a 80/20 loop
70-77 carpets were available in 80/20 loop or plush material.
Usually just the year is needed along with whether the car is
4-speed, or automatic transmission."
Would anyone know the difference(s) between the 68-71 80/20 carpet set and the 72-75 80/20 carpet set? Which would be the correct set for an early build (10/71) 1972 Coupe? What, if any, additional material (jute, underlayment, etc.) would be required for a "factory correct" install?
Thanks as always!

According to the 1970-1972 NCRS Technical and Judging Guide there is a difference between Cut-Pile vs. Loop - carpeting, depending on whether the car came from the factory with a (custom / deluxe interior - door panels with cut-pile carpeting ( leather seats ?) , OR standard interior non-carpeted door panels ( vinyl seats ?).
