I agree with interpon, remove the tape and see what's there.
Cheers, Greg

any idea what that “shoot off” of the harness powers?
but yes I guess I will have to do some forensics. Can that connector be had if I want to put it back to original?
There should be a 2 wire black plastic connector housing inside that taped up bundle.
From the pig tailed connector from the starter harness there should also be a 2 wire connector in the AC harness. Those 2 connectors connect together and feeds HI Speed Blower Relay and blower motor ground.

My 77 starter and AC harness is very similar.
Links to both harnesses,

(notice the 2 wire connector just after the firewall rubber grommet, that connector plugs into the pigtail connector from the starter harness)

If you purchase from the e-bay seller ask to substitute 1 #12 Male & 1 #12 F/M crimp connectors, otherwise all the crimp connectors will be #16-#14 gauge wire. You Need 1 Male & 1 F/M in #12 gauge.
You can also get these from Mouser Electronics LINK:https://www.mouser.com/
On the Mouser Homepage just type in the part numbers from above.
On the crimp connectors most are a minimum order of 20ea.
Hope this helps...
