Just realized my ‘71 AIM has two p.321s and is missing p.322.
Anyone have an image of 322 ?
Thanks

My 71 AIM doesn't have page numbers, what sheet am I looking for?

The page after the top page in your photo is 19000 ("454" ENGINE) in my AIM.

Mr D.: The page numbers are L### format; in the photo above it's located just to the right of the torque triangle key in the lower left -- L323.

xCCTer: My '72 AIM has different page numbers for this section but the same C60/C# sheet numbering system. Between the 350 belts & pulley page (your book's L321, sheet C1) and the 350 compressor mounting page (L323, sheet C3) is the 454 LS-5 belts & pulley page (sheet C2). Is your L324, sheet C4 page, the 454 compressor mounting page? If so, I'd venture to guess you're missing that LS-5 belts & pulley page.

BTW, Willcox sells a digital AIM for each of our years for $25 which is a pretty convenient format to quickly look stuff up.

My 71 AIM from the NCRS store does not have LXXX numbers to the right of the torque triangle.

huh. I thought all of these AIMs were copied from the same GM publication. Thanks for the clarification.

Check the PDF file. Also most AIM are made from copies of a copy of a copy. Every time a copy is made it will lose some resolution or clarity plus the copier could miss a page. The one I have is from 1975 so very new copy.

The LXXX page numbering system was added by reproducers. GM’s pagination system works just fine. After the page C60 C1 would come either C2 or D1. The beginning of the C60 section tells you what pages should be there. If you refer to the GM system, e.g. C60 C1, everyone will be “on the same page”, no matter who reproduced your AIM.

My page is a bit different from the ones previously posted. It's closer to Mr D's than to 67:72's. I guess copies were made of different iterations/versions of the AIM.

Here's mine:

Just to be clear, my page is from the '72 AIM. There are so many similarities in the two years that I posted it as a reference to what the missing '71 page may contain.

You're most welcome. At least for me, it makes me feel good to help others out on the forum when I can. I'm not an expert or a guy with lots of mechanical know-how, but I have learned tons on these boards and it's nice to pay it back to others when the opportunity presents itself!
