Default Corvette Identification???

Hello! Sorry if this is in the wrong category, but can anyone here tell me what specific year/make/model this corvette is just by looking at it? I really want one lol, the hood thing is totally dope. XD (I'm automotively retarded, sorry lol.)

Hello and welcome to the forum... First post. If I am seeing it correctly, it looks like the trim around the large back window. Since it does not have the large 25th anniversary '78 nose badge, I am guessing a '79 with some custom touches like wheels, ground effects, a slightly taller hood, and an earlier '68-'72 nose badge. It looks like it was not ordered with the D35 Sport mirrors. but it has the D80 front spoiler. I cannot tell if there is a rear spoiler. If you had a side picture, I would be able to tell for sure. BTW: The "Make" is Chevrolet. The "Model" is just "Corvette". The hood "thing" is a scoop for the carbs. It possibly has a blower.

Thanks! Sadly that's the only pic I have of it. =(
That should be enough for me to go on to do a google search though. XD

googled the image and came up with this CF link but nothing specific about the car:
https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...-corvette.html

Maybe more sleuthing by looking into the movie that it's in.

That is Dale Pople from Clear Water FL. He is SH or Super Hero... I believe he also used a C5 as his crime fighting vehicle. The one in the picture turns out to be a '75.

If the thing you like about the car is the hood treatment, then the year of the car doesnt matter. The hood look is completely custom, with a hole cut in the hood and the big breather added on and sticking out. You could get any rubber bumper car from ‘74 up and do this to the car but you would have trouble buying one that looks just like it, because they didnt come that way.

It also has a custom body kit on the side rockers. I suspect you could easily build the custom you want.

1975 to 1977 or 78 or 79 (cannot see the back window) with mirrors from 1968 to 1975 and aftermarket front spoiler derived from 1978

Yeah, that was Dale Pople's 1975 Corvette. Sadly, he took his own life at age 52.
