That is a early date code for the 1977.
My July built 77 with C60 & C49 has the same exact number.
I have also see the 908 63A used on the later built 77 so there was a mix of what was installed with those options.
I'm currently rebuilding mine now so if you have any questions let me know. The cheap rebuild kits are junk.
