I will be changing the Master Cylinder.
I want to keep it NCRS compliant. The one currently on the car is not original, and has a silver cap with rusty lower body.
Has anyone installed a NCRS compliant one they can point me to a source? Lots of vendors out there. I just don’t have an original to compare.
I would hate to spend a lot of money (more than it should be) just to get dinged at the next judging.
Zip C shows one for 150, but I would like some verification from another source it is correct.
Thanks in advance.

The original master cylinder used in 82 was a Delco casting number 5460346. The repro MC that sells for around $150, is pretty close to the original Delco 346, but they do lack the date code found on the original MC's. The date code was stamped on the machined flange, that one of the brake lines threads into. Some, but not all vendors, can add the date stamp to the repro MC. You can also get rebuilt and stainless steel sleeved original MC's for about twice the cost of the repro. The repro should pass NCRS judging, other than maybe a point deduction for the missing date code. I would suggest talking to Lonestar Caliper.
The only real issue with the repro "346" MC that I know of is the cap that comes with it. This may have been corrected by now, but the repro "346" use to come with a 68-76 Delco cap, instead of the correct 77-82 cap. The only difference between the caps is the 77-82 caps had the "mole tracks", the three pressure relief tunnels that come and go from the two domes of the cap. When ordering either a repro or rebuilt MC, I'd inquire about whether it comes with the correct repro 77-82 cap, with the pressure relief tunnels.

This guy is considered one of the top repro manufactures out there.
He currently only sells through ebay or most of Corvette specific vendors.
American co. in Florida.

Few years back I purchased a complete brake caliper/master cylinder from Lonestar. Got the date code stamped for $50.00 but I had to tell them what to stamp. They are licensed to manufacture new Delco M/Cs or you can purchase a rebuilt for $50 more. I got the licensed version.
