All. 79 corvette. I have gauges working (speedo, tach, oil pressure, temp, gas), forget the clock as its innards disintegrated! I have Headlights, high beams, turn signals all working. BUT inside the car its the Prince of Darkness....nothing. not one lamp.
I don't see that orange component under my dash that controls the delay for the dome light. AND I don't see two white wires where it should have been. So not sure if they are bridged to bypass the delay module or not. To get the items working above, I've replaced headlight switch, gauges bulbs and fuses. Any thoughts? Thanks.
The power for the dash lights (behind the instruments) goes through the potentiometer built into the headlight switch. Assuming everything is wired correctly, try wiggling the headlight switch ****, and rotating it through its range of motion.
Thanks for those. I did find orange delay module, took it off and bridged white wires together. Now I do have dome light, and kick panel area lights. They do not shut off though, even when closing doors...
