I’m in the market, so looking forward to your review (and pictures). My garage has 14’ ceilings, but I will need to modify the garage door tracks as they are too low. Are you all set up for the install with everything else ready to go? Very exciting!

Just a note:
I've been researching 7000-9000 lb. 4 post lifts and Advantage is a really nice lift well made lift IMO. While doing so and reading a ton of information on design & size I found that BendPak/ GP9F is identical to the Advantage except for a few items (check price & warranty) Advantage has great videos and Dannmar D4-9 which was bought by BendPak last year offers the same version now on sale 10% off till tomorrow.
All the same size and lift rate.
Look forward to seeing this fellas install. I'm jealous !

Congrats on the lift, you and your back are going to love it. I have a Bend Pac and am interested in the LED lights you mentioned come with the lift. When you set it up, would you share the lighting package. Thanks. Jerry

look up DDM Garage Doors. The have a good site with an explanation how to measure your existing door and hardware. They put together a kit for me to convert my standard lift door to a high lift. It cost around $260.00. Take a look at advantage lifts. You will be surprised at the quality. They have great videos on assembly and operation.

This my lift. I also bought the rolling bridge jack, LED light kit and a hight stop limiter. My ceiling is only 11'.

I will post some pictures when complete. The lights were more expensive than some I found on Amazon but they are made for the lift,, magnetic,, not adhesive, and are super Brite. I paid $200.00 for the light kit.

I researched as well. What did it for me was the square column being completely surrounded, not the c-channel design. They are also ALI certified. The only down side is the are not made in the US.

I look forward to seeing some install videos! I ordered a Worth 10k lift last week. Only 9 more weeks for the lead time. I can't wait. I already have a ton of stuff planned to do with it.

Well I picked up the lift today. What an adventure. Driving on the turnpike the empty trailer started oscillating . I had to recover. My fault. I was driving too fast, I guess 75. Anyway it freaked me out. I got to the warehouse in RI and they were not ready. To 45 minutes to locate and load. The trailer was 3400lbs., the lift 2160lbs and the trolly jack was 415lbs. Thats 5975lbs. My Jeep Grand Cherokee has a tow weight of 6200lbs. I drove back 3 hours at 40mph through the backroads. I did not want to take the the turnpike. Well it's in my garage. I will post pictures of the assembly and completion. Here's a couple loading and unloading.

My buddy just had an Advantage lift installed in his garage. He had installed by the people who sold it. He too has the jack, and I think extra drip trays. His main purpose was for storage, but he's used the heck out of it for repairs as well. He highly recommends it.

I can't help myself, but I have to say,, with all due respect, if you can't run 80mph with your tow vehicle and empty trailer, you have serious issues to straighten out. Be careful, figure it out, sometimes its just a small thing, but please be safe. . Looking forward to seeing lift in your shop, , ,

I believe the issue was a rented trailer. The type of hitch was a pinnacle style. It used a captured 2" ball and the trailer side had a 3" ring. This offered so much play the trailer was very unstable. This set should not be an optional setup. I have been towing utility trailers, boat trailers and equipment for years. I can assure you I am not a novice. I am confident that is was my experience is why I was able to recover the control in a safe manner. I should have paid more attention to the trailer connection. Unfortunately I was distracted with paperwork and the yard employee secured the trailer. I made the mistake of just assuming all was in order. Again as I stated, my fault. Always know your equipment, tools and their limitations.
