at least make sure your hand is pointing forward. in england, v sign with hand backwards is same as 1 finger version here... you know it is possible the V came from the corvette emblem...

I wave like a maniac if I see another Corvette. Only a few C7 drivers have ignored me. A C6 paced me for a while, while also waving like a maniac, which I thought was cool. The older Corvettes all wave.
I don't do the "V" sign. If I see a classic car I like, driving my Vette or not, I'll give them, the "OK" sign instead.

Didn't get my first Corvette until Jan. '74 and I remember giving the "V" sign when another Corvette approached or passed me. This topic would come up at work and another Corvette owner said he refused to give the sign or wave. He was a non-conformist but a great co-worker.
