I thought I had seen everything
As if pulling the brake booster out of a clutch equipped C3 isn't enough fun, finding this as the stop for the brake pedal switch makes it even better. At least they used SAE pennies instead of metric ones

Sad thing is, I'm going to leave it. It works.. I'll eventually pull the dash apart and redo pedal bushings and some other stuff. The pennies can stay till then.

Wall covering that is worth a LOT more as 'copper scrap' than as pennies. And some of them could be worth some even better money.
BTW, that Bubba 'stop' is getting some nice looking patina on it.

Hey I've done that LOL I needed washers to hold the rivets, couldnt find any sooo I made some.

But I couldnt find washers that had a hole small enough for the rivets to hold .
It worked well and it was all change I found under the seats when I took them out sooo back in the car they went.
