Default Where does this go?

Replaced my wiring harness and didn't take enough pics. The part below is 4" wide x 1.5" and i think goes somewhere in the center console area. But if i knew that for sure i wouldn't be asking here - what is this and where does it go?

Looks like the clip that holds the front of the battery down.

Yep its the front battery hold down , it goes in the battery area , on the seat side with that curve end facing up. There's a little ledge/lip made into all batteries , and that slides in under the curve . You need to find the outer reinforcement which goes under the car . It has the same holes , but is just flat and is about 1/3rd the width. These are permanently mounted (rivets ) , its the rear top that unbolts

Thanks for the answer to my riddle! I finally set up my sand blaster and had done a few random pieces. Unfortunately I put this piece in with my stuff to put my dash back together by mistake. I also redid my battery compartment but hadn’t put the battery back in as my dash was all apart. Some good news - the car started up on my first crank and all of my lights seem to be working well after replacing the wiring harness.

I think it is more a function of plug and play wiring harness with Doc Rebuild wiring diagram and good luck.
