Default 1976 Stingray

Thought I would start a thread to keep all my 76 stuff together, its just come back from the shop, master cylinder re sleeved (stainless), few new bushes in the rear (Much tighter) radiator fully rebuilt and all fluids flushed,
day off work today so I decided to spit and polish it, came up a treat, I am currently waiting on the mailman who is bring me the new Carter performance fuel pump and that will be fitted this afternoon or tomorrow
currently running very sweet, but later this year around Oct\November it will be going in to get some more work done on the engine to get some more go fast bits done to it, looking forward to that
other than that its on full Rego so its drive time

Gorgeous car and your video has really lit a fire under my rear to pick up the pace and get my yellow ‘74 put back together.
Keep up the good work!

Thank you. Waiting for the machine work to get done for my 383 stroker build and trying to redo the front suspension as well as new wiring harness in the meantime.
I’ll try to post pics as I get the ball rolling.

Well after a turn of events (unforeseen) lol I have just got the vette back today, the day after I put the new fuel pump in, tried to fire her up and she refused to start, chased it back to no spark bloody hell
played around for awhile and ended up getting a new coil for it, hoping that would fix it, it didnt, ended up looking like the module
so had the ***** with it and put it into the shop, they played around with it for the last two weeks, replaced a couple of leads, grommits, and hoses fixed it up and picked it up today
wow
is she hauling now, i am just waiting to get it into a local speed shop to hit the Dyno and fine tune it, will see how she ends up after that
but right now, just happy to have it back

So we thought what better to do on a Saturday morning than take her out to breakfast

lots of work under the bonnet and around the car, brakes work a treat now after the master cylinder was re sleeved, one of the leads was rubbing on the headers so we got some clips which hold them out of the way, suspension bushes make the rear nice and tight, new electric fuel pump, some new fuel lines, new coil, module and cap on the dizzy, radiator has been fully rebuilt, new clips to hold the twin thermo's on.
taken her out the last two days and what a pleasure to drive

It was clean the cars day today, nice relaxing Saturday, so nothing better than to get outside in the brand new shed built for the cars, the old 9x6 will now be the workshop, this new one is where the cars will sleep from now on, just reviewing Scissor Lifts before I pull the plug on one to make it easier to get in under the bugger

New 10 x 6 Shed, undercover work area, love it

Nice C3 for sure! What model carter pump do you have? I have been a big fan of the carter 4070 pump for years. Had one in my 460 ranchero and currently using one in my 65 gto for 20 years!
