Default Daniel Stern Wiring Kit

Hey guys,

I purchased a custom headlight wiring harness from Daniel Stern in 2016 and am now getting ready to install it. It is beautifully made but I have one question...

How do I or what do I use to connect the lower headlight socket to the harness?

This is the back of the socket:

And this is the harness:

There are crimp like connectors and shrink tubing on them. Everything else is pretty straight forward.

I have reached out to Daniel Stern but haven't heard back yet.

Thanks in advance

Russ

@Richard454 I know you are a wiring guru and have used Daniel Stern products. I took the back off the low beam socket and see this:

So, should I assume that the black wire goes to the upper lug and the green wire goes to the bulb?

Thanks for any/all help

Russ

Thanks guys,

Everything has been assembled by Daniel Stern but there are the two wires(black & green) that go to the low beams. Just wondering if the green wire goes to the bulb and the black wire goes to the housing?

The high beams have a connector already connected to the wires, so that part is just plug & play. What's confusing is the crimp on connectors along with heat shrink tubing. They are there to hook up to something.

Thanks

Just heard back from Daniel Stern,

The Hella BiFocal low beams have three wires: brown, yellow, and grey.

The brown wire is the ground wire. It connects to the black wire from
your harness.

The grey wire is the low beam feed wire. It connects to the green wire
from your harness.

The yellow wire is the parking light feed wire. Tap it into the car's
parking lamp feed.

Now, I understand!

Thanks for all the responses

Do me a favor and post pictures of the install and operation of the lights if you don't mind.

@caskiguy Sure, no problem. I purchased a custom made harness from Daniel Stern and I must say, it is a work of art.

Here is the end that connects to the battery, as you can see, the fuses are added.

The wires from the battery connect to the relays

There are 3 sets of wires coming off the relays, this plug goes to the existing headlight harness and plugs into the connector that attached to the original headlight bulb:

The other 2 sets of wires go to the High/Low bulbs. The blue connector goes to the high bulb

That's about as far as I got. Will update as I go.
