I've a call into BendPak, and their solution (requires jack stands) and I'm wondering if there may be an 'unofficial' work around.
The car is up on the first stop. The unit one side operates normally, but the other does not raise. The cylinder pressure was low in that one, so I have corrected that. I also note that the fluid level in the pump is quite low. My understanding from QJ is that I can add fluid to the pump resevoir while unit is raised. My sense from them (I'm waiting for detailed support) is that adding fluid will not correct the problem. And I'm certain that too much will cause an overflow when lowered...
Add fluid to not suck air...raise enough get off first locks..(other side raise enough to get off lock..lower to ground..cycle like new to remove air and or fluid monitoring..
if you are talking about the air cylinder that is not your issue...maybe in the fluid

Most likely either the one side was not properly bled or the schrader valve on the air cylinder on the opposite side is leaking. I would play it safe and jack the car off of the QJ and put it on jack stands. Then I would get QJ working properly and continue where you left off. The last thing you want is to get the car off of the safety latch only to find the two QJ lifts are not working in tandem.
Yup, from first line tech support. Which raises the issue of where to jack to get the weight off the QuickJack, and then where to put the suggested Jackstands... I think I'll have to be happy with it on two floor jacks.

I had that issue. I added a little bit of fluid and cylcled it a little until I could get the other side to raise. Then I put it straight on the floor. I dont bleed pressure while its in the air in anymore and I dont have any issues. It lonly took one time lettiing it bleed down while on the stops for me not to do it again. Be aware tthat you may end up with all that extra fluid purging out onto you floor when you lower it.. Good luck

PS theres a big show up in Deerfield this saturday, all makes

I'll go look at mine but I think I remember trying to raise an lower it until the bad side pumped up.
As I sit here trying to kick start the memory I believe I put cinder block under the tires and cycled the buttons. TH egood side would raise and lower an inch or so and I think I kept doing it until I could get the air bled out of the bad side....
I think there is a bleeder you could loosen and hit the raise button to get the air to bled until fluid comes out without raising the other side to much..

off to the garage ...give me a moment
and a good idea to put blocks under wheels as you are not that far off ground anyway...i don't recall bleeder valve and await RR. the air cylinder ONLY is for bringing down when lowering...
getting off the lock is trick first after support

I reread the instructions and they dont help. If you can get it high enough to get cinder blocks under the tires and put it in gear or have the brake set you or use Jack stands on that side. You can then lower it and raise it until the bad side catches up. Then get the bad side off the locks and lower the bad side onto blocks... or go straight to the ground if they are even....
Then lower both Jack's to the ground. Recheck your air pressure in the cylinders for 50 psi and refill the oil reservoir. The directions say to stand the Jack's up to get the air out of the lines as well

OK, I like the idea of getting blocks under the wheels. That's part of my SHTF plan. I have a little proof-of-concept test to carry out yet. The car needs to be raised to release the QuickJack lock. I'll let you know how the POC turns out. There are too many complications in my life right now...
