Now that we`re running the 71 coupe around the streets a little, & the weight & suspension are settling in, I checked the ride height.
Running P225/70/15 tires all around, measuring from floor to the top center of the wheel wells, I get:
LR--27 1/4" RR--27 3/4" LF--27 3/4" RF--28"
So the question is....should I mess with trying to adjust the left rear spring bolt, or is it close enough to leave it? Am I being too picky?
crank the left up a bit. if ride height stays higher on the right, dump your wife for a larger woman.
I was gonna hit the LIKE button...
FYI....the main leaf on my car was "curling up" on the driver side. A new main leaf solved the problem.
If your spring is in good condition...follow R.R's lead. You should be able to get the heights within 1/4" or less.
(if the suspension adjusts like helicopter rotors/blades...translation: if you tighten the nut on one spring bolt...loosen the nut on the other spring bolt the same amount)
