i was under the car this weekend and of course noticed the radiator support bracket and just a couple areas I want to spray now. Any good ideas on one that is not a mess to go on.
Take it out. Wire brush it up. Naval jelly it. Now look at it and decide if you’re going to spend 300 bucks on a new one or live with that one. One place that rusts pretty good on this car is the bottom of that rad support.

I just did this to my car and used a can of Rustoleum 2 in 1 reform and seal rubberized coating from Amazon. It’s not a spray, you just brush it on. I used it to put a protective coating on my radiator support as well as my frame and I’m very happy with it.
Not that I am an expert or anything, but living here in Canada we deal with Rust all the time.
We use Krown or Rust Check spray all over our frames because NOTHING lasts. Even the undercoating from the dealer only lasts 5 years, drys out and cracks.
That being said. IF you use any kind of undercoating on our parts. you really need to cover the areas with spray oil afterwards and re-apply it every year or two depending on how much rain you end up driving thru.
When I installed Steeroids there was a plate that was bolted to the frame. I cleaned the rust off my frame the best I could and them applied a coating of Molly grease where the frame was covered with the plate. Even if it gets wet, the grease will keep the moisture away from my frame in there. The rest of the frame I will work on when I can. Once I re-paint the rest of the frame I will spray oil all over the dried paint to protect it from moisture.
DO NOT spray any oil on the Fiberglass parts of our cars...it bleeds thru the paint.
