I'm rebuilding my T-10 out of my 76 and I got looking at the stamp after I cleaned it all up. What does this date code come out to be?

Dec 9 1952?? That can't be right.

According to my book it decodes as W is for a Borg Warner, J is October, 9th day of the month and finally the 5 is for 1975. The 2 indicates a close ratio transmission.

That makes way more sense. The info I had on decoding the tag must have been wrong or for another date range. Thanks!
