Default Rim fitment?

I have a 1977 Vette with stock hubs, wheels, and suspension. I've been offered a set of rims. The fronts are 15x7 with 215/60/15 tires. The rears are centerline 15x8 with 295/50/15 tires. They have a 3" backspacing.

Should these fit as is? If not, how big of a pain in the butt would it be to make them fit?

I think the standard wheel for the 77' is 15" x 8" with a 3.5" backspace. Looks like the rims are a little too narrow, and the backspace is too shallow.
I'm not sure how that would work out?

No good. Stock wheels for 1977 are 15" x 8" with a 4" backspace.

Thanks! That's what I figured. I just wanted to verify before I made the 130 mile round trip to pick them up.
