Default Re-attaching Stingray script emblem

OK, so my cargo shorts pocket caught the edge of my pax side Stingray emblem and pulled it off. I cleaned up all the grawdoo left on the paint and the back of the emblem and figured it re-attaches with little speed nuts.
Well only one of the 3 prongs on the back is accessible ato put a nut on it. Apparently they are stuck on at the factory with pre-applied double stick adhesive.
So what do I use to stick it back on.
I can't imagine trying cut little pieces of double sided tape for the back of these skinny little letters.
3M clear emblem glue has a 5 minute working time. Not a lot of time to try and get it on the back of all the letters.
Anyone already do this??

LOL
I'm one of the poor saps that trimmed foam double sided tape around the letters

I'm still kind of surprised that some vendor doesn't sell die-cut tape for the emblems, after all, someone is making if for the repro emblems

I used 3M black weatherstrip adhesive on mine and it worked great. It stays tacky long enough to put on all the letters and it won’t harm the paint. Mine have stayed on through several +110F dusty summers here no problem.

Clear Gorilla [double-sided] emblem tape will do the job well. No [real] need to cut out for openings in the letters, as the tape is clear; and after a few days, the 'open' sticky surface loses the sticky stuff. Works great and is much easier to use.

I was thinking about the black 3M stuff ( I have some). I'll check out the Gorilla tape.

I thought putting it back on would be easy....I forgot it's a C3.

Mine fit tight in the holes so I just put a little weatherstrip adhesive on the (3) pins, that way I can remove them once a year to clean behind them (wax buffing compond). They have been like this since 1986

That'll work. I just don't like the metal emblem being directly on the painted surface. With vibration and time, the areas of the emblem that are in contact with the paint will wear thru it.
