Just wanted to say thanks to folks for their suggestions on my ‘75 L48 refresh project. What began as a heads / intake / carb project morphed into a full rebuild - you know, while I’m in there. .
Jebby’s suggestions and Lars talent set me on the right path and I couldn’t be happier with the end result.
I haven’t pulled an intake let alone an engine in over 30 years so this was fun. I did learn that being retired let me walk way and regroup if something was fighting me.
You don't mean IF something was fighting you...you meant WHEN something is fighting you.
Anyway, you couldn't get any better advice than whatever those two provided. Great minds will get you on track...if you listen to them (which, apparently, you did ).
Looks SUPER!! Have a lot of 'senior' fun with it.
