You stated original air just so everyone knows the air compressors for tire inflation at the assembly plant. Had a specification from GM engineering for the compressed air and the amount of different components nitrogen, oxygen, moisture, etc.
Also have 4 40 cu ft. cylinders left of original GM plant air if someone needs a refill $50 per tire.
[QUOTE=Lark327;1603925896]Here’s a few pictures of the car. It’s in really nice shape. One repaint about 20 years ago. I’ve owned it 5 years. All original 61,000 miles
That is one great-looking Corvette. The color really sets it off.
Hey Lark, nice find and nice car!!! I dropped the carrier on our '68 earlier this year as I was redoing everything below the belt line. Found an original spare, pretty well used, no air. For fun, I put 32 lbs in it. That lasted for about 2 days until it was zero again. Made me smile to see a 53 year old tire in there. Enjoy that beautiful C3! Paul

Nice find...when I lowered mine I found a 14 inch tire and the wrong bolt pattern!
Thanks Found the car on Craigslist in Charlotte NC about 5 years ago. The good thing is it doesn’t look like it’s ever been messed with and everything is intact and works even the original am fm radio (sounds like **** compared to modern). I’ve installed all new brake system as well as clutch etc. as well as other minor things. Only the alarm didn’t work, but I just got that working. Even has all the original matching keys and locks including the spare tire carrier and alarm.
