When I bought my 1967 Corvette it had a Muncie transmission and 411/410 gears. Replaced with a TKO 500 and 3.55 gears.
This Muncie has been in my basement for several years, and have decided to try and sell. Please excuse the oil mess, plan to clean asap.

Don't know if it is appropriate to ask about a selling price...if possible would like some opinions Thanks in advance for your replies.

easily worth over $1500 inmy neck of the woods. Maybe close to $2000 but with everyone wanting 5 speeds it may take some time to sell. I recently had to put my old 4 speed back into my vette while the 5 speed went in for some upgrades. It was fun but I surely missed the 5 speed on the highway and was eager to get it back in as soon as it got back. Good luck with the sale, post it on the C2 forum as well.

In case this helps someone searching for this transmission, I read a different partial VIN.
Partial VIN: 8S410958
Which would be a 1968 C3, possibly one of 80 L88s, and the full VIN would have been
194678S410958 (Convertible/roadster)
or
194378S410958 (Coupe)
I didn't see that VIN in the C3 Registry, but I would think that this transmission would be worth a lot to the owner of that car, if it still exists.
My first thought was $1800-2500. There is one listed on marketplace near me that claims to be rebuilt for $2000.
My neighbor sold his M22 last year to 427King.com in CT if you are having difficulty in finding a buyer. Many many years ago my brother pulled his 454 out of his Chevelle while attending school to save on gas and inserted a 283. He left the M22 in there, so there are more than big hp guys that might enjoy a M22.
At Charlotte a few years ago I bought a bunch of 70 vette parts from a vendor, the last thing was a M22 with a 70 vette vin. which I didn't buy - half way back from the swap meet I nearly tossed my cookies when it dawned on me what I had been staring at... one of the 25 1970 ZR1 transmissions.
It came to me... the only 70 vette with a M22 was a ZR1.
I forgot that fact, as there were alot of M22's built in 1970 -L78- LS5 and LS6 chevelles were all available with M22 - L78 and Z28 Camaros.
