will 17x9.5 wheel fit '77? Without emergency brake bracket relocation?

Depends on the Backspacing and caliper spacing of the wheel.

I have 18x9.5 wheels on my 78 all around. Wheels have 4.75" backspacing & 1.1" caliper clearance. Min Caliper clearance is about .9".

Looks good. The rotors and calipers are factory set up.

I put 255/45 R18's on my rears. No problem if you move the ebrake mount. I made a simple bracket out of aluminum and attached it with screws to the top of trailing arm. I did have to grind the old bracket's welds off the side of the arm.

I like it. The simple straightforward solutions are the best. What rim did you choose? The set I was considering won't work.
