Default 79 seat cover replacement

Good evening all excited to join. Always wanted a Corvette. Had a busy year with wife passing away put a favorite pet down. Decided life was to short and better buy one so I purchased a 79 L82 47000 miles. Must say I love it. Its yellow all original. Seats have usual wear spots someone had tools in pockets. So I purchased the leather covers and new Foam and hardware. Want to put seats together before removing old ones. Where can I find how to install the wires that go thru leather upholstery and then attached to foam been looking everywhere to no avail any thoughts?

Thanks Steve

I believe there is a heavy duty wire "cage" that you need to use to attach the foam, wires and clips to.
So you'll likely need to remove the cushions from the clam shells anyway to access the cage.
Not to hard to pop the cushions out from the retainer clips but can be a pain to get clipped back in. Helps to make a tool to push the heavy wire into the clips, like a screwdriver with a notch ground into the tip.
Sides are retained at the sides, so push from either side til it releases. Use the tool from the side to push the wire back into the clip to reinstall.
Bottom I've seen where the rear retainer can be either facing forward or rearward. Grab the cushion between the lower and upper cushion and pull toward the front(rear retainer facing forward). If that doesn't work, push the cushion from the front to the back(rear retainer facing rearward.
