Upper Trunk

Should there be carpet or something in the upper trunk? When you stick your head back there and look up it's just the bottom of the fiberglass.

Just bare glass on the underside of the rear deck
A strip or two of sound deadener can help the large flat panel be more solid sounding but I've never seen it as an issue
