Default Lifter alternanative?

Hi guys,

Building a mild street 454 for my vette, I've bought and installed a Comp Magnum 270H (224/224) (https://www.compcams.com/magnum-224-...k-396-454.html) and the recommended lifter is a Comp 812-16 however I'm unable to get any in Australia.
What if any would you guys recommend as a replacement?

I'm in Australia as well. I purchase 95 percent of my parts from the states. About a week to get here. About the same if I order out of Melbourne. I'm on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. The price of car parts here is so bloody high. It's cheaper to order out of the States even with the cost of shipping.

I like Howard lifters, over the years I have had less issues with Howard than all the others I’ve used.
What rockers and adjusting system are you using .

It's a good idea but would be really hard to coordinate, I was using an Australia Post service which had a warehouse in the states and the vendor would send my parts to the warehouse (usually free shipping from some sort of deal) and then Australia Post would send it here at a discounted rate with insurance! It was good but I don't think it caught on like they thought as it's shutting down soon.

Back On topic,

Anyone have any experience with the HT817 lifter? I'm looking at the Sealed Power HT817 standard replacement lifter

SP HT817 is simply an OE-type replacement

JME, but with all the production outsourcing & shipping delays ... seems ALL lifters may be suspect ?
