Default 2021 Pay-It-Forward Thread

Welcome to the 2021 C3 Parts Pay-It-Forward Thread.

Each year as we approach the Holiday season, we find a renewed spirit in gift giving with friends and family. That giving spirit lives on here at the Corvette Forum and this the C-3 Corvette Family.

This thread will begin the annual “Pay-It-Forward” Holiday Season gift giving activity.

The rules for this are simple.

1) You post an item that you are giving away free of charge. Yes, you pay shipping to the new owner unless you have made previous arrangements with the claimer to pay shipping, share shipping, etc. This usually applies more to shipments outside of the US for our friends in Canada; Europe; and Australia where costs for shipping can be extravagant at times. US shipments are typically paid for by the giver for this Pay-It-Forward activity.

2) You can claim an item you are interested in owning after you have posted an item to be given away. It is, after all, a time of giving, not a time of taking, so please don't start claim an item before you take the time to Pay-It-Forward with your item or items.

3) You can post more than one item to give away. After all, it is the Holiday Season.

4) If you have given your offered part to someone please post an update to your offer thread and let us know who it was that claimed the part. This will help us to keep track of parts and avoid people asking you if it is still available when it may be gone already.

5) Be generous with your fellow Corvette Community members.

6) Have fun. This is a great community of Corvette owners and enthusiasts. Spread the joy.

Admin: Please make this thread a sticky. Thank you all!!

CENTER CAPS HAVE BEEN CLAIMED BY AQUARIAN!

I will begin by offering up a nice set of DRIVER QUALITY OEM Rally center caps. Part numbers printed on inside: 3925805 and GM 525504
Again, these are driver quality and look good from 5-10 feet but have their fair share of minor scuffs and dings that would be expected of 50 +/- years of use.

LET THE FUN BEGIN!

Claimed by gdl2165. Thank you Gary.

I have one of my newly developed and manufactured C-3 Easy-Tow plate kits I am donating to the C-3 Pay-It-Forward group. This plate mounts directly to the front cross member of your C-3 and allows you to jack your car from the center location as well as tow your vehicle onto, or into, a trailer. It works great for protecting your car being towed onto a roll back. The C-3 Easy-Tow will come with grade eight mounting hardware and instructions. If you own a 68-75 the holes should already be in the front cross member for mounting. If you own a 76-82 then the holes are easy to mark and drill and will allow you to mount this plate to your car as well. Takes about 5-10 minutes to install. Remove it if you want to clean the underside of your car or leave it in place, it is up to you.
I will ship this C-3 Easy-Tow plate kit to the USA for free via USPS medium one rate box.
If more than one person is requesting the C-3 Easy-Tow then I will set up a drawing to pull a name for the winner.
Thank you.

Ike,

I thought last year it was run in the for sale section, but I may be wrong. If it needs to be moved I’m sure a moderator would be more than happy to move it for us.
Looking forward to this thread gaining some traction! 😎

I was thinking the same thing but if you look it is a sticky in the general section.

it’s best placed we’re ever the most “eyes” will see it. The moderators can answer that for us.
Thanks again for getting it rolling.

Some leftovers. More to come.

Male section of a seat belt. Came out of my 1972. Not correct but if you need something temporarily it will work.

Windshield wiper fluid water bottle i am not sure what year it belongs to but if you can use it its yours.

Still searching. I need to organize my parts.!!! Ike

Sorry I should warn anyone interested that I will not be able to ship the parts out for 2 weeks. I am not at were they are located.

If anyone can use t-top stainless with corners and fasteners or a 77 up accelerator pedal assembly with cable they are welcome to it.

Jarhead 74 Vette,
You beat me to the punch by posting your center caps.
I have a set to post as well, but I'll wait until yours get claimed.
I've got some other stuff, but I need to get it out of my storage before I can post it.

Sorry, Old Car Bum, but the early bird gets the worm. 😎

I do have someone interested in my set, but nothing definite as of yet. I’ll post it claimed if they do take it.

Yes, please post up….you may have something I could make use of. 🤔

Glad to see this thread and thanks for setting it up.

I have a spring mounting plate with bolt kit that I had originally purchased for my '72.

Glad to help keep this tradition going.
I have a couple items and will look for more in the coming days.
I'll pay shipping in the US
Good slightly used brake booster, should fit 77 to 82.

Here is a cruise control servo, should fit 78 to 81.

I could put these to good use, mine are looking pretty pitted and rough.
