Chevrolet Performance at SEMA with their new ZZ632/1000 crate engine; Chevy has your new engine good for 1004 hp on pump gas!!
Who will be the first one to be roasting tires with one of these in their C3?

New engine for Chevy’s

I'd love to have one, but then I wouldn't be able to have a hood.

Would need to be in front of a manual trans, but not sure what manual could hold the torque without going to a Lenco or Liberty?

A drop base air cleaner would fix that.

My brain has already been spinning over this one. Fitting it would be tough. Besides the fact that the intake is crazy tall.... with the tall deck block, big heads and tall valve covers, I don’t know if the valve covers would clear everything.....(wiper door vacuum module, fire wall, master cylinder... hell the valve covers themselves may not even clear the hood. Lol) And Ofcourse you’ll have to build a $3k set of custom headers....

As cool as I think this engine would be, I think a short deck 565” would be way easier to fit in and live with. It probably wouldn’t make 1k but.... 900 would be reasonable. Future plans....

Fair point - if 1,000 bhp is the goal via an engine swap, just whack a big snail on a LS3 for a third the cost.

You're preaching to the choir - I'd be first in the queue if money were no object, and for all the wrong bar bragging reasons. Heart vs head etc, etc.

Given the choice, I'd get this one.....https://www.shafiroff.com/chevy-pump...isted-sr20.php
Regular short deck block, pump gas, and half the price. Still would have to custom a hood, though.
