Engine knocking when I revved engine

Engine knocking when I revved engine
So I started up my car just to start it the other day. It was pretty cold out but I got it running. After a few minutes I revved up the engine and it started knocking. Any ideas what it could be?
Is my vette stock?? HAHA

no I haven't, if its low would that be the reason? Also ive had the Same amount of gas sitting in there for the past month, could that cause it too? I read something that because of the cold, these corvettes can have a false knock. If it goes away should I still be worried?
