Welcome to the Forum. Even on zoom that relic is hard to read. But I can see enough to know that is one sweet L36 car. Blue vinyl, Turbo jet engine, posi rear and close ratio trans. Maybe someone with better eyes can share the rest.
Put that thing in a zip lock before it desintegrates.
You can try to use some editing software to sharpen it but everything there is pretty much readable other than the Order Number.
I see a Blue on Blue coupe with 355 posi, soft ray glass, alarm, close ratio trans, white stripe tires, am/fm radio with a vin ending in either 157 or 657. And by the configuration of the print I can tell it’s a late build car built after August 1969.
[QUOTE=Erhard;1604459343]Do you think I should replace the tank? It doesn’t leak but it is rusty. And if I do mine has a vent return line, is that important.?
Looks like it’s out already. I would go for it if you have the funds. Ecklers or Paragon are good resources for tank kits. The vent line is a Big Block only feature, so make sure you purchase a Big Block tank with vent return.
Try brakleen NON flammable cleaner on a corner or other spot.. on mine ot cleaned well without destroying letters..
lots pocs, walgreens photo print out the best and make a couple copies.. keep one in glove box
Get a Quanta tank, they are made with the correct GM dies. That is not a vent line, that is the extra anti-vapor lock fuel return line from the special gas filter by the engine that has three ports. Lou.
