I’ve got a 4 speed 72 base engine. What plugs should I be using?

Originally AC R44T if you can find them.
The Midlothian Advance Auto has them in stock.

NGK's for me too.
They gave me the smoothest idle I've ever had...

Just be sure that they are supposed to be tapered or not. Then whether it is extended or not.

NGK cross-reference attached; not sure why it's called "NonAuto"...
I use NGK in both of my Corvettes.

Funny thing about my '67's NGKs - I could order the "car" packaging but wait 3 days or they were immediately available as individual lawnmower plugs packaged on hang cards. The guy at Autozone was kinda thinking I shouldn't be using them in a car. .

I think I put $2 AutoLite's in it last time. They spark like they are supposed to and it makes the car go vroom vroom.
In my opinion if you're paying $8 a plug to just drive around town and cruise, you're out of your mind.

My Delcos' terminal tips kept loosening up; even if I used pliers to snug them down, they'd work loose to only finger tight. Considered Loc-tite but the heat wouldn't work with that. Have you experienced that at all? (The NGKs are a fixed tip.)
