Ditto on the lift, I'm gonna get one when I grow up and get rich so I can raise my 8' ceiling. . As it is now after I get it all jacked up and finally get under it to do whatever it was I was going to do I either forget the tool I need and/or forget whatever it was I am doing under there in the 1st place, LOL....
Other necessary tools, A mighty Vac, a variable timing light, battery powered hand tools, multimeter, aligator-clipped jumper wires and an assortment of many lighting apparati'..
I thought about this too but after 45 years of owning and working on corvettes I would have to include a lot of tools, specialty tools bought or made, a lathe, a Bridgeport, Surface grinder, press, wash tank, blast cabinet, air compressor and receiver, air tools, torches, storage, etc and I still am buying or making tools. Still need some type of lift and can always use more room.
Functioning EYEBALLS... {put your freakin' bifocals on!} LOOK at the witness marks left behind!
Mechanical brain....(hmm do I PULL the wrench towards my nose or AWAY FROM my nose)
Ability to take something apart and NOT FORGET how it goes together?

Ability to RESEARCH, without asking others. (old VERMONT SAYING; "Ya ASK for help, you GET Helpless".)
EARS....yes! that terrible ticking sound is a collapsed lifter.
Ability to read CARTOONS...yes! the AIM manual is all cartoons!
