Temp gauge not working
Hi , Ran the car for 35 minutes and my temperature gauge won’t go over 110 . I have heat in the car , So I do not think it is the thermostat Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Take the wire off the temp sender in the driver side cylinder head. It should be a green wire. Put it directly to ground and it should peg the gauge to full hot. If so the sender unit in the head is bad. If not you have to look at the wire to see if it is still good, to broken or cracked. Then see if the gauge is bad.

I also had a temp gauge mis reading the temp. I did the ground test and ohm test. So i simply removed the sender unit. Cleaned it with some emery and replaced it. VOILA!! it works great!
