Default storage compartment door pulls original or not

I'm in the process of refurbishing my storage compartment on a '74. These are the door pulls that are on the car. They are old so have been on the car for a long time but are totally unlike the replacements currently sold. I wanted to see if any one else had seen door pulls like these on any other car and if so could they possibly be original?
Thanks!

I questioned the slot head screw first but then the raw edge of the pull is what really looks out of place. Looks like someone replaced them with what they could lay their hands on. I'm pretty sure they all had a rolled edge that was stitched along both sides with a metal eyelet, right up till 78 or whenever they changed to the other style

I don't know if they are original or not, but I do know that I have NEVER seen a flat-head screw on one of my C3s.

I believe mine are original, because they are different from the new restoration pulls that were ordered, so I kept them on the doors.

The vinyl is folded over and then stitched, the one i ordered were different

Your loops look like leather. Originals were vinyl.

Your appear to be correct. Here is the wording from an NCRS judging Guide. The ones shown by tmny277 are not someone made them to replace missing or damaged ones.

The lids open with chrome push buttons that are surrounded by interiorcolor bezels. They have vinyl interior color pull straps to help lift them. The pull strap is mounted to the lid using a chrome ovalhead cross-recessed machine screw inside the loop. A 3/8-inch hex-head nut and a flat washer, both zinc- plated, secure it on the underside of the lid. Some reproduction straps have a smaller stitch length and the two stitch lines are too close together.

Thanks all! Yes, they are leather. And they are very different from both the NCRS description and all the reproductions I've seen.
My doubt came simply from the fact that my information is pretty limited to '74 only. I thought there might have been an outside chance these were from an earlier year.
If that was the case I would save them. But in this case I'll toss them and move on.

Are the NCRS guidelines the same for the 68 as well?
