Your C3 outside lamps are duel filament lamps.
So if you decide to purchase a set, make sure they have 3 prongs.
Ive had a few different configurations on my BMW's and VW with fogs and hi beams.
A lot of aftermarket beams are yellow instead of the golden amber you find on real french beams.
you can wrap them with yellow film and it helps protect the glass, but it is usually not gold enough.
The best way to get the gold lense is to tint them using yellow glass spray paint or tamiya hobby paint. search online for diy e36 french beams
Also, the beam is not that dramatic and is usually really washed out yellow.
If youre looking for a really deep yellow beam, you have to use yellow bulbs as well. or have a small yellow/amber daytime running bulb.
If you get sick of it you can wipe off the paint with some acetone or thinner.
I thought that looked cool for cars that always display those headlights. I don't know if they improve your vision at all, but perhaps you can find a pair from someone parting out a French E34 BMW, or similar.
There are threads on this Forum for adapting H1/H4 lenses to the C3.
