My new to me 78 pace car Corvette has been being stored indoors and maintained for it's entire life up until I bought it. The seller told me never remove the stickers that are stuck on the windshield near the rear view mirror. I under stand that helps keep it original BUT! They are so faded, they are simply white paper stuck on the window and they are half falling off. What original factory stickers were on the windshield and can I find replacements?. Is there a book or a Bible that shows all the original stickers and placement on the Pace cars. I saw one years ago for the 65 Mustang, and wondered if there is the same thing for the 78 pace car. CA DMV made me get new plates because the front one was missing, so I had to remove the original 1 License plate that I had sadly. Would have liked to keep the original plates. The pace car decals on the door, are wrong too, I think. All the ones I have ever seen the white letters in the middle are in the black area. This one has it in the silver.
This is what was on a 77 at the time it left the factory.
The only stickers I know of were on the passenger side window,
Most Dealerships removed both the EPA and Warranty cards and put in that cars New Owners packet along with other documents.
The information on both the EPA and Warranty cards included the cars VIN number.
The only sticker on the window at the time of sale was the window sticker showing options and MSRP.

It's best if you post photos. Frankly, I don't recall stickers on the windshield...they were placed on the passenger's side window as BM shows.
