Default Windshield Frame Weld Question

(See Video)

I have the header and both corners for the frame. What is the procedure for attaching and welding?

do you know how to weld and have something to weld with? http://www.corvette-restoration.com/...upper-corners/ this is more fabbing the pieces than purchasing them, but cutting pieces to fit the frame is much the same. did you take diagonal measurements-lots of them before cutting into the windshield frame? if not, how do you know the windshield will fit when you are done? and the air gaps between the pieces have to be gone before welding. and no sealer until welding is done.

There is surely a way to use the windshield itself to do this job, thereby having everything fit perfectly in critical areas. Good luck on your project!

Yes. I think that is the way to go, rather than rely solely on measurements from the old one. Both should be considered, but the main goal is to have the windshield and trim fit. I'll use the new glass to help align everything before making any welds.
