Weird shut off
My 1982 CFI very occasionally does this weird thing. Shortly after cold starting, I drive maybe 10 feet and the engine just shuts off (electrical stay on). I believe it does this when the car goes into open loop mode. Anyway what I then do is literally restart the car and it runs fine for the rest of the trip. Its done this twice now, not all the time but still maybe once a week. What could be the cause? Again, I highly suspect it does this when entering open loop. Most times when it enters open loop it runs just fine though (idle rpm is high obviously).
