Restomode seats

I am restomoding my 71 and looking for seats that will fit. My original seat bottom width measures 19 inches at the front. Has anyone changed their seats on a 70-72?

Throw in some C5 seats. They are comfortable and fit by swapping out the brackets.

C4/C5/C6/C7 seats fit, Miata, Fiero , Corbeau, and Recaro also fit

Another vote for c5 seats.

As you can see, there is a size difference, but once the tracks are swapped out they work well.

If there’s a place around you that has used seats, take out your passenger seat before you head over. You’ll have a place to try them and see how they look. Some Porsche seats fit also, in addition to the ones listed above.

Do a search here on the forum. A member put mustang seats in his C3 and they looked really comfortable and were an easy swap.

I got some C4 seats from the for sale section of the forum and had them recovered locally. They are pretty comfortable and sit pretty low.

Those look great, how did you install? Any special adapter?

Those look great! How hard was the installation and any special brackets needed?
