Yes, buy a new one if it's broken and hanging inside. Bugger getting your hands up in there to remove the nuts. But it can be done. I'm thinking if you did a google search you'd come up with something.

if handle is hanging halfway down, the spring in it is broken and a very difficult repair. replace it. the link that attaches handle to latch can be adjusted. make sure the link is attached to the handle when you install the handle. google c3 door latch and start watching videos.

My drivers side exterior door handle went kabong last winter. Found a brand new one, still in OEM bag on eBay for a song.
Reproduction units tend to have quality issues with the chrome plating and / or fitment.
After you remove the inner door panel, and there are hidden screws here and there (YouTube has a vid on how to remove a C3 inner panel)
you will need a trouble light inside the door skin and another one pointing down towards the window channel.
Find someone with small hands to reach the hardware. There are clips, rods, nuts, etc. to be swapped out.
It took my wife five attempts but she fixed it.
And you will need a magnet to reach the bottom of the door to retrieve dropped parts.
