I’m doing an intake manifold gasket replacement. Removed exactly 13 bolts from the tbi plate, but it’s not moving. Tried percussion with a mallet and wooden stick, plastic wedges, and wd40. Can another cfi owner verify I got everything off and I’m not missing anything? Thanks. Pics below
here is decent pic of one without any stuff on it. there are 4 bolts down each side. looks like the outer bolt on the throttle body goes through the top cover and bolts to the lower intake.
or actually, one thing I wanna post here. As u can see from the pics, the passenger side is all gunked up. Driver side is too, but less so. What is that stuff? It’s not oil, it’s pastier. It’s even on the damn solenoid connectors.
